1 Introduction
A large and important part of NEMI's activity is concerned with helping to promote and foster a skilled and competent workforce in the region. As such we operate an independent advisory service working directly with Industry, Education and Government Bodies to meet specific training and development needs.
The primary purpose of this activity is to establish and coordinate a training and development service for the Regional Electronics and Microelectronics Industry in the North East and to add value to the existing training infrastructure for the benefit of employers and potential and existing employees.
